INEVITABLE END: Guitar Lesson Video Posted Online
INEVITABLE END guitarist Marcus Bertilsson has created a brief video lesson for The Oculus tracks “Zen” and “Memento” that can be viewed now at GuitarWorld.com.
The Oculus, the follow-up album to 2009’s The Severed Inception, saw its release this May and is currently streaming in its entirety via the band’s website: Inevitable-End.com. The Oculus was recorded at HoBoRec Studio in Huskvarna, Sweden with producer Ulf Blomberg. Video footage of INEVITABLE END at HoBoRec can be viewed now at this location.

HAIL!HORNET: New Track Off ‘Disperse The Curse’ Posted Online
HAIL!HORNET has posted “Unholy Foe” from their forthcoming album Disperse The Curse online now via The Obelisk. The band has previously posted “Beast of Bourbon” from Disperse The Curse at the band’s Facebook page. The long-awaited album from the southern metal band follows-up HAIL!HORNET’s self-titled 2007 debut and has been set for an August 1st international release date. HAIL!HORNET is “Dixie” Dave Collins (WEEDEATER, BUZZOV*EN, BONGZILLA) on bass, Erik Larson (ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY, BIRDS OF PREY, PARASYTIC) on drums, Vince Burke (BEATEN BACK TO PURE, LUNCH) on guitars, and T-roy Medlin (SOURVEIN, BUZZOV*EN) on vocals.
Two years in the making, Disperse The Curse was recorded at Sniper Studio by the band’s own Vince Burke. The album features 11 new HAIL!HORNET tracks and artwork from Brian Mercer (MercerRock.com). Disperse The Curse’s complete track listing is as follows: “Shoot The Pigs”, “”Gifted Horse”, “Disperse The Curse”, “Glass Roses”, “Beast of Bourbon”, “Kill the Liars”, “Unholy Foe”, “Suicide Belt”, “Dullards Creed”, “Scars”, and “Blacked Out In Broad Daylight”. REVOCATION: In-Studio Footage Posted Online
REVOCATION has posted more footage filmed during the Chaos of Forms recording sessions at Damage Studios online now at this location. The band recorded Chaos of Forms earlier this year with engineer Pete Rutcho. Additional footage from the studio can be viewed here.
Chaos of Forms will see its international release on September 5th and is available for pre-order at this location and at iTunes. REVOCATION has recently premiered “No Funeral” form Chaos of Forms online at GuitarWorld.com and “Cradle Robber” via the band’s Facebook and MySpace pages.

MORTA SKULD: ‘Through The Eyes Of Death’ Streaming Online; Video To See Premiere
MORTA SKULD’s upcoming collection of early material, Through The Eyes of Death, is currently streaming in its entirety at this location. Through The Eyes Of Death, combines the band’s two 1990 recordings Gory Departure and Prolong The Agony on one disc along with previously-unreleased material. The two sessions were produced by DEATH manager Eric Greif. MORTA SKULD is the first band other than DEATH and CONTROL DENIED to be published by Chuck Schuldiner’s Mutilation Music. Through The Eyes Of Death will see its release on July 18th internationally, and is available for pre-order at this location along with a preview of the new Travis Smith artwork.
Also to be released next Tuesday is the official music video for MORTA SKULD track “Prolong The Agony”, taken from the Through The Eyes Of Death release. The video was directed by Doug Cook and produced by Eric Greif.
MORTA SKULD formed in 1990, releasing their first demo tape Gory Departure shortly thereafter, and features principal songwriter / guitarist / singer Dave Gregor. The band’s second 3-song demo Prolong The Agony came soon after and featured Viogression drummer Jef Jaeger. Both recordings have been remastered for the Through The Eyes Of Death collection by Chris Wisco at Belle City Sound.

EXHUMED are currently streaming their new album All Guts, No Glory online now via MetalSucks.net. All Guts, No Glory, their first new album in eight years, will see its international release on July 11th. The album will be available on CD (pre-order), deluxe digital (pre-order), a limited edition 2-disc set that includes a second disc of exclusive bonus tracks (pre-order), single LP vinyl, and limited edition buzzsaw shaped vinyl. The strictly limited deluxe sawblade-shaped vinyl will include 2 LPs on blood red vinyl in a gatefold jacket with insert. Photos and pre-order options can be found here.
EXHUMED recorded All Guts, No Glory at Arcane Digital Recordings in Arizona with engineer Ryan Butler (MISERY INDEX) and at Trench Studios with John Haddad (ABYSMAL DAWN, INTRONAUT). All Guts, No Glory was mixed and mastered at Mana Recording Studios by Brian Elliott (GRAVES OF VALOR).
EXHUMED will be on tour in support of All Guts, No Glory this summer and will head to Europe for a handful of open-air festivals. A listing of confirmed EXHUMED tour dates can be found below with more to be announced soon.
